Just an Update….Sorry for the Hiatus
Alright…. its been a while, but…..in my defence i have good reason. AND that reason is not cause i haven’t been doing art, but instead cause i just moved to Australia and now, well I’m just kind of getting settled after a short holiday.
Projects I’ve been working on, some of the best projects yet, have been looking… and feeling…. terrific. In fact a lot has been happening. I did an album cover for a group based out of North Carolina called the McCauliffe Brothers Band. Did three characters based around the band members and gave them all animal traits and rockstar looks. Came out pretty sick. The final copy hasnt been printed yet but i forsee big things.
Kind of in the mix of all that I did a t-shirt for Neumans CD realeas party, which POPPED OFF!!! You can check out the pics at theNeumusic.com or on his facebook page. And you can download his NEU album (just kidding, im an idiot)(which is not the name of the album) on i tunes, or do it on your own time by just searching “The Neu Music” and it will pop off in your face for the low low price of $5.94!!!!!!! (i wish there was a way to make numbers capital….cause…..BOOM!!! Think about that…in numbers!) Anyways. the T looks great, raunchy as hell and sweet as ever, and i cant wait to get my hands on some to sell over here, on the right left coast (right of australia left of the pacific).
Before, i left Van i did some pretty sweet illustrations for my boy Jake $’s website. It’s still getting set up so they aren’t posted yet. I included a quick sample below. i have a few instant favorites, im sure you can pick a couple out.
FINALLY!!!! My Kayotics board is out!!!! You can get it in van at the Board Room on 4th and burrard..ish OR you can order it online! There is no link to my website there, or even my name, but hopefully that will be fixed soon. Kayotics makes a very quality flatland board, and with my new graphic…..its even better. ALTHOUGH!!!!! Next season, i already have some fricken sweet designs done. I’m not sure if they will be printed or not but they are undeniably sweet.
Which brings me to my second to final point of art business. Ive been constructing a resume and design portfolio. A great deal of work has been put into prepping all that shiate so that i could include it all. So far so good. Definitely go check it out!
And i’m sorry for making this post so long…. but, i made a sweet sculpture on my vay-k. Couldn’t have done it without the help of my wonderful girlfriend/ professional sand patter-downer. It came out sick. Enjoy!
